Dr. Crider serves as dean and professor of church music and worship in the School of Church Music and Worship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is passionate about training the next generation of worship leaders and encouraging pastors and worship leaders to embrace the Bible as their guide for corporate worship.
Prior to serving on the faculty at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Crider taught at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Liberty University, Southwest Baptist University, and Westmont College and served on pastoral staffs of nearby churches.
Dr. Crider is a frequent speaker and clinician at worship conferences and churches. He has contributed articles to various publications and seminars. Dr. Crider has been married to Amy for 36 years and they have four children and five grandchildren.
